We created 164 ads across scaled marketing programs (sellers, services) across 6 content themes. Ads covered 6 content approaches including: value prop, ad makeover/before & after, storytelling, tips/hacks, Ask an Expert/Q&A, Case study. Both Meta employees and contracted creators were featured in ads to determine which talent source was optimal for performance and process efficiency.

 
 

Creators

As a part of a work stream to create a library of new ads (with a focus on Reels) to drive efficiency and testing, thereby boosting ad engagement and engaged revenue, we worked with 4 contracted creators and 5 internal employees to film scripted footages for us to create Reels ads.
Working with the marketing managers and copywriters, we drafted scripts for creators with some liberty to allow room for creative expression and more strict scripts for our internal employees to make sure we receive quality raw footages to work with in post production.
We’ve had several rounds of reviews of footages before going into post production to make sure they have the right energy to engage our audience.

 
 

Guidelines

Since we worked remotely in giving guidance to the creators and our internal employee volunteers, it was essential to create a clear guidance on how to film themselves and provide advices.
So we put together a one sheet to guide them to achieve the footages most efficiently and effectively.

 
 

Delivery

We’re currently in a testing phase with the Reels ads with a batch of motion ads that we created in tandem to this project. We’re seeing approximately 2x increase in efficiency and engagement with these 64 Reels style ads.
