Facebook Ads Library
Role: Art Director / Motion Designer
Date: 2023
The Facebook Ads Library campaign encompasses a number of ads that will run on our platform to test creative against existing campaigns to experiment performance and determine best practices for ads ourselves.
We also have been running a lot of redundant campaigns and solutions for individual marketing campaign and saw a need of creating a composite of video ads that can cater to each product topic.
We have split the work in two parts, one in house and another with an agency, and I worked with the agency to consult and supervise art and visual direction along with storyboarding the in-house video ads and directing motion designers on the final deliveries.
Art Direction
We’ve been seeing great performance with ads that feature real people who educate on the materials and provide tips as it adds more human touch to our narrative. It is also one of our official guided tips for our advertisers to feature a human, so I wanted to implement the direction and be a leader in showcasing the best practice. It’s also a great way to see how far we can take the involvement of real people to further understand our products’ benefits and impact.
I scouted employees at our company who have the right energy and showmanship to be featured as the spokesmen and narrate the message. I storyboarded each ad with detailed gestural direction and filming guides to ensure each model understands the agenda of the ad.

We’re still in testing phase to see the results but here are some examples of ads that we have completed to run.
